A Little Planning Goes a Long Way

whet stoneLast month I spent an entire week on what, on the surface, looks like it didn’t produce any actual income for me. I flew to Las Vegas for almost a week. The entire trip cost me almost $1000.00 and I didn’t sell a single product. I wasn’t hired to speak at a single event. The sole purpose of the trip was to create an annual plan for 2014 with my business partner Nancy and our mastermind partner Sharon.

What has come out of that week has covered the cost of it at least 10 times over just in the past three weeks. What’s coming for me in 2014 will pay for it more times than I can even imagine (although I’m imagining a lot, I’ll tell you that!). I know have a clear plan of action to follow as I step into the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014. Let me tell you, there are some amazing things coming and I'm beyond excited.

I’ve done an annual planning retreat similar to this for the past five years. My annual planning sessions over the years have literally shaped my business and what I offer you (so in a way, they've shaped yours as well).

So, I want to encourage you to consider setting aside just one day to create an annual plan for yourself. If you don’t know where to begin, just start by reviewing what you loved and hated about 2013 and then ask yourself what you want for 2014 for your life and business. Come up with at least 5 new projects/focus areas that you can get really passionate about in 2014. Then start working on

a plan to make them a reality for you.

Here’s the first of my many exciting new projects: I'm doing a series of free videos this week (starting today) that will help you create a plan for your own life and business. I can't wait to share them
with you and get your feedback on them. You can click here to get instant access to the video series and start creating a killer plan for your direct sales business next year.

Trust me, you don’t want to miss this video series. It could be the beginning of the year (and life) of your dreams. Really!
