Video Blog: Don’t Let Bumps In The Road In Your Life Derail Your Business

When your life gets in the way of your business, how do you handle it? I’ve noticed two different approaches… Either people put their heads down and get the work done IN SPITE of what’s going on with their person lives (which is the choice I’ve made, not only for the past few months, but for the past three years as I went through my late husband John’s cancer journey with him), or they throw up their hands and give up on their business, using their life situation (whatever it may be) as an excuse to quit.

I believe that if something is important enough to you, you’ll find a way. If it’s not, you’ll find an excuse. The next time you’re faced with a little extra stress because of the circumstances in your life and you’re tempted to throw in the towel on your business, remind yourself of why you started in the first place and maybe find a compromise so you can continue working (at least part of the time) on your business. That way, you’ll have a business to come back to when your life returns to normal (which it ALWAYS will).

Check out the video I made on this topic and my own journey with this situation.
